PHOTOGRAPHY Programme Overview

Project Creative Pathways CIC delivers cohort-based photography programmes, typically supporting one cohort at a time, with a maximum of two cohorts running concurrently.

Our core Photography for Wellbeing programme is delivered over six structured sessions, designed to provide accessible, trauma-informed creative engagement for participants experiencing social isolation, social exclusion, or reduced wellbeing.

Subject to funding availability and participant need, programmes may be extended to twelve sessions to support deeper skill development, progression, certification, or additional support requirements, particularly for children and young people with SEND or complex needs.

VIDEOGRAPHY Programme Overview

The Videography for Wellbeing programme is a structured, cohort-based creative programme that uses videography to support wellbeing, confidence, and social connection. It is designed for children, young people, and adults experiencing social isolation, social exclusion, or reduced access to opportunity.

Delivered over six to 10 weekly sessions, the programme introduces participants to basic videography skills, including filming, framing, sound, and simple storytelling. No prior experience is required, and all equipment is provided to ensure inclusive access.

Videography is used as a practical tool for self-expression and communication, allowing participants to explore ideas, experiences, and perspectives in a supportive and accessible way. The programme focuses on engagement and process rather than technical performance, with activities adapted to individual needs and abilities.

Participants complete the programme with a sense of achievement and receive a certificate of participation or completion. Where appropriate, progression opportunities or further creative pathways may be explored subject to funding and partnership availability.

BECOME A DJ Programme Overview

The Becoming a DJ programme is a structured, cohort-based creative programme that uses DJ skills and music mixing as tools to support wellbeing, confidence, and social connection. It is designed for children, young people, and adults who may experience social isolation, social exclusion, or reduced access to creative and cultural opportunities.

Delivered over six weekly sessions, the programme introduces participants to the fundamentals of DJing, including equipment use, beat matching, track selection, and basic mixing techniques. No prior experience is required, and all equipment is provided to ensure inclusive access.

Music and DJ practice are used as accessible forms of creative expression, enabling participants to develop focus, confidence, and a sense of achievement. The programme prioritises engagement and personal progress rather than performance, with activities adapted to individual needs and abilities.

Participants complete the programme with increased confidence and transferable creative skills and receive a certificate of participation or completion. Where appropriate, further progression opportunities or accredited pathways may be explored subject to funding and partnership availability.
